Welcome to HEARNOW, a fully independent hearing aid company dedicated to providing the very best advice, care and solutions for those with all kinds of hearing difficulties.
Most of us take our hearing for granted. We wake up in the morning and it’s there, working, giving us information about what’s going on around us. We don’t have to fill it with fuel or change batteries; it just works.
Treating hearing loss can help reduce the risk of serious health issues like depression and dementia. Hearing loss can take a toll on relationships, often leading to social isolation. Untreated hearing loss is associated with medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension and an increased risk of falls.
If you have hearing concerns the first thing to do is to have your hearing tested & assessed. Only when you’ve had the benefit of a free full hearing assessment, had the results explained to you and received appropriate advice will you know whether you need to do something about it. We’re proud offer our hearing aid services throughout Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. Enquire today.
Our experience and training will enable us to guide you through the hearing aid experience and help improve your quality of life for now and the foreseeable future.

Providing personal hearing care since 2006
Paul has been a Registered Hearing Aid Audiologist since 2006. His experience has been through working with high street hearing aid providers, manufacturers and the NHS, from which he has gained invaluable insights as to how they all operate and, more importantly, how he can improve his own abilities and appreciate the problems encountered by people with hearing difficulties and offer a better service.
Everyone’s lifestyle is different, which means that those with hearing difficulties will have experiences which are specific to them. For Paul, it is vital to find out about everyone’s problems and difficulties. This information, combined with a full hearing assessment, is used to give the best advice on the right solution to improve your quality of life.
It’s not just a case of fitting hearing aids; that is just the start. Once the hearing aids have been fitted and adjusted to your satisfaction, we will provide a check-up every six months and reassess your hearing annually to ensure that your hearing aids are always set to provide the hearing you need.
Hearing Tests
for Cambridge & Bury St Edmunds
We’ve all known what it’s like when we go into a noisy environment and must work hard to follow the conversation. Whether it’s in a pub, restaurant or family gathering, the noise from conversations we don’t want to hear makes it difficult to hear what we do want to hear.
Similar problems arise when we are watching television. It we’re watching the news it’s fairly easy. There is one person speaking and no distraction from sounds in the background.
Most people with hearing difficulties will have lost more in the high frequencies. Unfortunately, it’s the high frequencies that provide clarity and tell us what the words are. A lot of people will say things like ‘I can hear people speaking, I just can’t make out what they’re saying’ or ‘Everyone seems to mumble these days.’
